Shearwater Marine Services are a diving and marine engineering contractor based on the Cowal Peninsula, on Scotlands west coast. The company was founded in 1992 and has since grown to become one of the UKs main diving and marine engineering services suppliers. We work with clients in both the private and public sectors and have earned an outstanding reputation for consistently delivering high-quality, innovative and cost-effective solutions for all our clients.


Role Description

  • The successful candidates will work closely with project managers and engineers to support to multiple projects and manage costs across the business .
  • Build and maintain working relationships with the supply chain and clients.
  • Provide bid support for prequalification and tender packages.
  • Manage subcontractor supplier accounts, financially and contractually. Monitor subcontractors against the programme. Negotiate final accounts.
  • Complete measurements and valuations of work executed, ensuring that they meet the conditions of the contract (re-measure as required).
  • Ensure payments to Sub Contractors and Supplier are made to the terms and work in progress cash targets.
  • Ensure commercial compliance of current contracts, protecting the position of the company.
  • Pricing work packages and cost forecasting


Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will be degree-qualified or working towards a degree.
  • Ideally have previous NEC contract experience.
