The role of Financial Reporting Accountant will report into the Head of Finance and will be responsible for reporting and financial management of the company inventory and assets.This role will suit a Qualified accountant (ACA,CIMA, ACCA) who is detailed orientated and possesses excellent communication skills. Some of your responsibilities will include: 
  • Oversee the timely and accurate completion of month-end Group Reporting requirements.
  • Deliver comprehensive and actionable financial and operational performance insights, including the development of KPI metrics.
  • Identify and record monthly accruals and depreciation journals.
  • Monitor and control stock adjustments and movements, providing detailed analysis on excess stock within the business.
  • Assist in the creation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts for inventory and assets, including ongoing variance analysis.
  • Contribute to business process improvements, challenging existing practices and driving continuous development.
  • Address pricing discrepancies, ensuring accurate costings and valuations in the database. 
  • Presenting monthly results to the relevant SLT members and the Finance Director with insightful commentary and identifying risks and opportunities
  • Business Partnering to the Operations Team by working together to try to ensure stock levels are well managed and stock turnover is kept to a minimum
