Key Stage 2 Primary TA - Luton, Bedfordshire - Full-time, term time only - PAYE

Tradewind are currently working with a brilliant SEN school in Dunstable who are looking to recruit a full-time TA to join them after the February half-term. You will be required to work from 8:45-3:15 each day during term time. For the strongest candidates, this may lead to full-time employment with the school.

This school in Dunstable benefits from excellent facilities which are spread across large grounds. Class sizes are on average between 5-10 and there will be 3/4 TAs in each class. You will be working closely with children in the KS2 phase of the school to help facilitate learning in different subject areas. Our partner school are looking for enthusiastic people with a real passion for childcare. Children at this school in Dunstable have a range of SEND including ASD, Cognition and learning delays and MLD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the classroom teacher, SENDCO and parents to ensure a holistic approach to well-being and learning for every child.
  • Work as part of a large support staff team to create a fun, safe and exciting learning environment for all children.
  • Creating a fun and exciting learning environment for children with SEND
  • Get involved in the wider school community and represent the school to the best of your ability
