Butler Rose is excited to represent a dynamic independent accounting firm in Bedfordshire, seeking an ambitious ACA/ACCA-qualified professional to join as a Manager / Associate Director. This role offers a genuine route to Equity Partnership and the potential to take full ownership of a well-established firm with a strong client base.

Our client is looking for a driven individual to join as a second director with a clear path to leadership. Initially, you'll come on board in a salaried role, gaining deep insight into the firm's operations and clients. Over time, you'll have the chance to transition into an ownership role through a gradual buyout, assuming you can secure the necessary funding. If not, you can remain as a senior salaried partner, playing a key role in the firm's strategic future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Lead a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring top-notch service delivery.
  • Business Development: Drive growth by attracting new clients and expanding service offerings, particularly if you have expertise in audit.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a small established team, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
  • Strategic Planning: Partner in shaping the firm's long-term strategy, with a focus on growth and succession planning.
  • Operational Oversight: Take on key operational responsibilities to enhance efficiency and service quality.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified with significant post-qualification experience, ideally in a similar-sized practice.
  • Proven success in client management and business development.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a vision for growth.
  • Financial acumen and the ability to raise significant funds for a potential buyout.
