Our client, a leading bespoke food manufacturer based in Bedfordshire, is seeking a proactive and experienced Compliance Manager to join their team. They are market leaders in supplying bakery products for QSR;s, food service and major retailers around the UK. This role will help support the Technical/Quality team.
Description
- Develop and oversee control systems to prevent violations
- Implementing new systems when needed, in place for smoother processes
- Audit the factory + look for issue and areas to improve in
- Making sure business is confirming to all UK regulations
- Revise procedures, reports, etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues
- Collaborate and work closely with the Technical team
- Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate such as audits/ documentations
- You will manage a team of 2 people
Profile
- Must have HACCP Level 4
- Experience auditing internally + externally
- Well versed with BRC + Food Safety
- Proactive + Able to work collaboratively
- Conduct internal audits on the factory
Job Offer
- Salary up to £60,000
