Shift Manager

We are seeking a skilled Shift Manager to join team in overseeing daily operations and ensuring efficiency during the designated shift. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling, quality control, and continuous improvement processes.

Responsibilities

- Manage shift operations effectively to meet production targets

- Oversee assembly processes and ensure quality control standards are met

- Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives

- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot operational issues

- Monitor and enhance business processes for efficiency

planning and organizing production schedule

assessing project and resource requirements

ensuring that health and safety regulations are met

overseeing production processes

Keep audit of materials and update purchasing manager

supervising the work of production staff

Planning and Organizing staff shifts, Holiday and daily schedules.

Requirements
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving operational goal

Very important hands-on approach covering floor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Day shift 4 Days a week at present. 6am to 4pm shifts with Friday/sat/sun off.
• Holidays when on permanent team
• No weekends (unless emergency work required)
• Christmas break for up to 2 weeks.
