About the Role:Dunbar Education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join a secondary school for a maternity cover position. This role will run from September 2025 to September 2026 and will involve teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and contribute to a dynamic science department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.

• Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing appropriate feedback and support.

• Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.

• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.

• Maintain high expectations of student behaviour and achievement.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 levels.

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education.

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

• Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.
