Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant based in Dunstable looking for a new role in January 2025?

Tradewind are currently working closely with a lovely SEN school who are looking to recruit a number of Level 3 Teaching Assistants to support children across their school. The school caters for children with a range of different additional needs including ASD, ADHD, Mild Learning Difficulties, Global delay and SEMH. They take great pride in the individualised support they offer every student and go above and beyond to ensure every child at the school makes progress throughout the year.

The school follows the national curriculum however they have adapted their lessons to make them accessible and fun for their students.

They are looking for creative individuals who can really bring learning to life for their learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with children in class to deliver effective support to the class teacher.
  • Develop a strong bond with students with a range of different SEN needs.
  • Work as part of a large staff team who thrive on collaboration and support.
  • Track and monitor student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet their needs.
  • Build positive relationships with parents.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A level 3 TA qualification or Degree in a related field.
  • Experience working with children with SEN is preferable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for supporting students with diverse educational needs.
