Property Supervisor- Energy Upgrades

The Company:

Build Recruitment are currently working with a housing association, and have an exciting opportunity for a supervisor to join the team to oversee energy upgrades within their existing property stock.

Ideal candidates will be an experienced supervisor, with experience within the retrofit sector. You will be responsible for supervising a small team of in-house mechanical based trades, plus sub-contractors across a range of energy upgrades to properties including heating and hot water systems, solar panels, EWI works plus window and door upgrades.

You will need to be NVQ qualified in a trade such as plumbing, heating or electrics and also hold a NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification.

 

Day to Day:

  • Managing a team of mechanical trade operatives and sub contractors to supervise retrofit upgrades in existing properties.
  • Planning and monitoring works
  • Updating excel spreadsheets, in house CRM and sending emails
  • Tenant and end client updates
  • CDM knowledge
  • H&S, Risk assessments
  • Split of office based and site based work

Requirements (Skills & Qualifications):

  • Experienced in retrofit/ energy upgrades
  • Trade background - NVQ 2 qualified as a minimum
  • NVQ level 3 qualified or equivalent 
  • Strong people management skills
  • Must be IT literate
