The successful Architectural Technologist will have a few years of post-qualification experience being a confident Revit and AutoCAD user, able to produce high quality accurate technical drawings and thorough knowledge of latest building regulations.

Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Architectural Technologist:

  • CIAT accredited or working towards
  • Degree or HND/HNC in Architectural technology
  • 5-10 years of post qualification experience in a UK based architectural practice
  • Strong technical abilities
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Proactive approach to self-development
  • Be able to work well within a team environment as well as independently
  • Diverse portfolio of projects in a range of sectors
  • Experience across small - large scale projects
  • Confident producing high quality technical drawings
  • Through knowledge of current building regulations
  • Attentiveness to detail
  • Driven to keep up to date with latest software, designs and environmental issues
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Ideally you will live locally to the Durham area
