Remuneration: £45,000-£50,000neg + up to 25% BonusBenefits: Circa £7,000 car allowance OR fully electric company car i.e. Tesla & standard company benefits
The role of the Area Sales Manager - Exterior Lighting will involve:
- Field sales position selling a manufactured range of exterior lighting products
- 60% of your time will be spent generating specifications with electrical consultants, M&E consultants, landscape architects & specifiers
- The remaining 40% of the time will be spent selling to / dealing directly with main contractors & electrical contractors
- Inheriting an area with a modest £250,000 turnover
- Tasked with growing the patch to £500,000 in the first year
- Typical projects £10,000-£20,000, but up to £50,000
- 50% account management, 50% new business
The ideal applicant will be Area Specification Manager - Exterior Lighting with:
- Ideally with electrical specification experience
- Exterior lighting knowledge not essential, open to various electrical product backgrounds
- Ideally electrical consultant relationships
- May consider a senior electrical wholesale field sales background with strong relationships on patch with electrical contractors
- Personable, team player, people person, driven and enthusiastic
