This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills in non-destructive testing will be valued and developed. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of welded structures using ultrasonic testing and other NDT methods.Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Ultrasonic Testing (UT) of welds in accordance with ISO 9712 Level 2
  • Ensure accurate calibration and setup of ultrasonic testing equipment
  • Analyse ultrasonic signals to identify and assess defects in welds
  • Document inspection results, preparing detailed reports on findings
  • Maintain compliance with NDT standards and procedures
  • Assist with additional NDT methods as required
  • Work flexibly based on business needs, with a standard early finish on Fridays
Essential Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in NDT
  • ISO 9712 Level 2 Ultrasonic Testing of welds
  • Full UK driving licence
  • In-date Vision Acuity certification
Desirable Skills:
  • ISO 9712 Level 2 in Eddy Current Weld Testing
  • ISO 9712 Level 2 or CSWIP in Visual Inspection of Welds
  • ISO 9712 Level 2 in Dye Penetrant Inspection
  • ISO 9712 Level 2 in Magnetic Particle Inspection
