Package:£50,000 - 54,000 + quarterly bonus, company car, pension, and benefits.


The Opportunity

We are recruiting for this role on behalf of a leading UK manufacturer of electrical equipment. This is a unique opportunity to establish and lead a brand-new Training Academy, shaping its development from the ground up. You will play a key role in delivering technical training across the UK, while developing market opportunities and enhancing industry knowledge.


The Role

This role involves designing, delivering, and managing training programmes for both customers and internal teams. Training will be provided both in-person and online, with extensive travel required across the UK. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, the Product Team, and the Marketing Team to create and refine training materials.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver technical training courses on electrical safety and product use.
  • Manage the training schedule and coordinate sessions.
  • Conduct technical seminars at customer sites.
  • Create pre-recorded training content for online learning.
  • Build partnerships with educational institutions and industry bodies.
  • Introduce new learning technologies, including e-learning and blended learning.
  • Represent the Training Academy at trade fairs and industry events.
  • Conduct risk assessments for training environments.
  • Oversee the training budget and ensure high-quality standards.


What Were Looking For

  • A background in electrical engineering, technical training, or education.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programmes, ideally in a technical or B2B environment.
  • If you are a Product Trainer, a Senior Engineer with mentoring experience looking to transition into training, or an Educational Professional with electrical qualifications, we would love to hear from you.
  • Strong presentation, organisation, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety testing and compliance (desirable).
  • A full UK driving licence extensive travel required.
