Sonic Summary

Empowering Learning is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work 1-1 and in classrooms with students in a PRU setting in Durham.
The position is full-time, Monday to Friday from 8.15am to 15.45pm, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Candidates must hold a Level 3 TA qualification and have experience supporting students with SEMH needs, along with a commitment to providing continuity for students.
The role requires flexibility, effective communication skills, and the ability to de-escalate challenging behaviors in a supportive environment.
A DBS on the update service is required, or candidates must be willing to apply for one.

Empowering Learning require a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work 1-1 and classroom based with students in a PRU setting in the Durham area. The role is 5 days a week, Monday to Friday 8.15am-15.45pm but may become permanent for the right person.

The school is very focused on supporting students on their learning journey and want continuity for the students due to some of their trauma backgrounds.

Hold a Level 3 TA qualification and experience of supporting students with SEMH needs.
Be responsive, flexible and sensitive to the differing needs of pupils. Including those with SEND.
To support a student with SEMH needs
