Your new companyThis super role has arisen simply due to the retirement of a long-standing member of staff.It provides a rare opportunity to join a wonderful, close-knit team who are providing a UK-wide service from their Durham Head Office. With the opportunity not only to manage the full finance function, but also work closely with that Board, this would suit an ambitious AAT Qualified.Your new roleWorking closely with the Chief Exec and Board members, you will have sole responsibility for all aspects:-
- Payroll for a small team
- Banking
- Nominal Ledger
- Purchase Ledger
- Sales Ledger & income management
- Fixed Assets
- Budgetary control & forecasting
- Month-end accounts
- Monthly P&L and Balance Sheet prep
- VAT
- Liaison with external stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
- AAT Qualified as a minimum
- Previous experience of working in a stand-alone finance role
- Experience of working with and explaining finance data to non-finance managers & board members
- Experience of Sage 200 would be an advantage.
- An immediate start is available, otherwise it is necessary to be able to start within a calendar month.
