Lemon Drizzle Recruitment have been appointed to recruit an experienced Construction Estimator for a main contractor based in County Durham.
What you’ll be doing and be responsible for
You will manage tender enquiries of various sizes ensuring clear and accurate prices are produced. You will analyse enquiry documentation, produce BOQ’s, gather prices for materials and subcontractor quotations, analyse risk and produce and submit cost estimates for construction projects up to 10m. Projects will be a mix of new build and refurbishment (commercial).
You will liaise and build relationships with clients and work closely with all stakeholders of the business.

Salary will be between 60k – 65k depending on experience plus £5k car allowance or company car. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension and other perks.
Who is this role ideal for?
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Estimator from a main contracting background. You will need a good understanding of subcontracting packages and trade sequences for new build and refurbishment projects up to 10m. Having solid relationships with the supply chain in the north east would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
