Parts Advisor (HGV)
Durham

£26,750 negotiable plus Bonus scheme

Monday to Friday with rota Saturday work

Duties:

  • Professionally handle incoming calls to promote and secure parts sales.
  • Work with suppliers to purchase parts at competitive prices while maintaining stock levels.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager to meet monthly sales, margin, and contribution targets.
  • Contribute to meeting or exceeding head office and local customer service level agreements (SLAs) and KPIs.
  • Perform stock cleanses and manage internal transfers efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service to local and national customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Help in building a customer base and promoting the truck and trailer services.
  • Manage cash and payment systems following company procedures, prioritizing safety.
  • Work with the parts team to meet sales and delivery targets, including over-the-counter sales.
  • Evaluate local market conditions and identify sales opportunities.
  • Comply with health and safety procedures.
  • Demonstrate the company's core values in daily work.
  • Collaborate with van drivers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Perform additional tasks to ensure smooth branch operations.
