- Ensure all HMRC, RTI and other Statutory reporting deadlines are met.
- Ensure all new legislation and government requirements are met.
- Managing regular reporting to HMRC and ensuring all Tax Year-End procedures are run including P60, P11D processing.
- Overseeing the implementation of required changes to the HR and payroll system.
- Ensuring compliance and updating of SOPs for all payrolls and cross-trained staff on full payroll cycle from start to finish.
- Leading the team responsible for all transactional functions of HR such as contract changes.
- Use your expertise to help develop strategic plans and business plans that cover a wide range of operational activities.
- CIPP Payroll Management Diploma (or equivalent experience within a large complex organisation).
- Specialist payroll knowledge and expertise and ability to offer advice to a range of customers.
- Stakeholder engagement expertise with sound ability to communicate to a wide range of audiences.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Staff management experience.

- Technology proficient with a strong digital competence.
- HR related professional qualifications would be desirable as would experience working on a cloud based HR and payroll system

- Experience of working in payroll in a large and complex organisation, ideally with multiple types of contract.
- Experience of HR admin processes like contract onboarding would also be advantageous
