The Office Manager ensures smooth operations within the office by managing administrative functions, supervising office staff, and maintaining a productive workplace environment. This role requires excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills to manage office functions effectively and support broader company goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and inventory.
- Oversee company records, databases, and filing systems.
- Implement and manage office policies and procedures.
- Supervise and support administrative staff, providing training and mentorship as needed.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and address team issues promptly.
- Ensure staff schedules meet operational needs and manage time-off requests.
- Manage office budget, including expense tracking and invoice processing.
- Handle relationships, negotiating contracts and service agreements.
- Collaborate with HR and finance for payroll, benefits, and recruitment coordination.
- Facilitate interdepartmental communications and scheduling.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Organise and manage company events, meetings, and presentations.
- Ensure the office complies with relevant health and safety regulations.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in office management or a similar role.
