Elvet Recruitment are recruiting a Project Manager on behalf of a main contractor to pick up work on the AMP8 Northumbrian Water Framework in 2025.
The role itself will require knowledge and experience on Water schemes, or Heavy Civils projects. The position presents an opportunity to work with a leading name in the industry, with work in the North East for the next 6-8 years.
Duties as Project Manager:
- Preparing daily and weekly progress reports, variation reports for the scheme
- Chairing weekly internal meetings, and client progress meetings
- Producing monthly reporting in line with contract requirements including commercial reports
- Dealing with NEC3 type contracts
- Developing procurement schedules
- Maintain documentation for ISO9001/14001 and 18001 systems
- Manage the project team and supply chain to deliver works in time and to the set quality standards.
- Taking a proactive approach to managing H&S onsite, and able to implement the inputs from the wider team
- Build rapport with the client and ensure a clear understanding of the objectives, which can then be passed to the team
Experience Required as Project Manager:
- Must have proven experience working as Project Manager on large scale Civil Engineering projects
- Must have full knowledge with:Earthworks, Public Road Works, Land Remediation, Water or Heavy Civils
- Must have: SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.
- Understanding of planning software and contract requirements
- Working knowledge of Design Management, Programme/Risk Management and cost control inclusive of forecasting
Remuneration:
On offer is a salary of up to 70,000 (DOE) pluspackage
