Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, submit, and manage accurate cost estimates, budgets, and valuations for M&E projects.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis and manage procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Prepare interim valuations, final accounts, and variations for projects.
- Monitor project costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure profitability.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure financial control.
- Evaluate and negotiate contract terms and resolve any financial or contractual issues.
- Provide regular reports on project financial status and forecasts to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the M&E sector.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, installations, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Full UK driving license.
