An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading organisation in the construction industry. This role offers the chance to manage procurement and contract administration functions on various projects, involving supply chain development, procurement strategy, tendering and evaluation, negotiation and contract management.
The successful candidate will be part of the project delivery team for a range of challenging projects of significant scale and complexity.

What you'll do:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, your primary responsibility will be managing the procurement and contract administration function on various projects. This involves developing supply chains, strategising procurement, conducting tendering and evaluations, negotiating, and managing contracts. You will work closely with project teams and customers to deliver services that fully meet their requirements. Your role also includes reviewing main contracts and providing advice to project teams. You will administer contracts on behalf of the company and clients, which includes handling payments, variations, expediting, and forecasting. Additionally, you will provide cost and commercial reporting.
- Administer the process of procuring equipment, contracts, subcontracts and services for the company's projects.
- Work closely with project teams and customers delivering a service to fully meet their requirements.
- Assist in the review of main contracts and provide advice to project teams.
- Administer contracts both on behalf of the Company and our Clients including payments, variations, expediting and forecasting.
- Provide Cost and Commercial reporting.
- Travel occasionally to potential client sites.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Senior Quantity Surveyor position brings extensive experience as a procurement/contracts manager in the construction or related industries. You should be familiar with standard Forms of Contract (NEC4) used in the UK and Europe, with an ability to provide advice and guidance to others on contract administration. Experience in regulated process sectors would be advantageous. Membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors with relevant experience is preferable but not mandatory. EPCM experience would also be beneficial.
- Extensive experience as a procurement / contracts manager in the construction or related industries.

- Experience in regulated process sectors would be an advantage.
