About Us:
Randstad is partnering with the Children and Families (C&F) team in Durham to recruit a dedicated Non-Case Holding Social Worker for PwP (Pathway Plan) and C&F Assessments.
This role allows you to focus on conducting high-quality assessments without the responsibility of managing a full caseload.

Job Description:
As a Non-Case Holding Social Worker, you will focus on conducting thorough assessments to support the well-being of children and families.
You will work with vulnerable children and families, assessing needs and risks, and contributing to the planning of services without the day-to-day management of cases.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-quality Pathway Plan (PwP) assessments for young people transitioning from care.
  • Perform comprehensive Children and Families (C&F) assessments, identifying risks and needs.
  • Work closely with children, families, and multi-agency teams to gather and evaluate information.
  • Attend multi-agency meetings and contribute to the development of child protection and care plans.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience in children's services, particularly in conducting assessments.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, safeguarding procedures, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with professionals from different sectors.
