We're looking for a confident and experienced Bookkeeper eager to join an Accountancy Practice that values both it's clients and team members.

What's on offer:

  • 30,000 - 35,000 Pro rata

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up new clients on various accounting software platforms.
  • Accurately enter records and perform reconciliations to provide qualified accountants with a trial balance for year-end accounts.
  • Extract and manipulate data to generate reports for clients and internal use, including management accounts.
  • Assist clients with day-to-day software queries, particularly in collaborative data access situations.
  • Coordinate with clients to gather necessary information for VAT and quarterly accounts.
  • Handle VAT registrations and other administrative tasks within the practice.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven bookkeeping experience within an accounting practice.
  • Proficiency in preparing reports up to Trial Balance.
  • Strong communication skills, especially in client interaction and query resolution.
  • Experience with accounting systems such as Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, multitask effectively, and thrive under pressure.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
