Reed is advertising this role on behalf of our client, who is seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee their operations. This role is initially offered as a 6-week contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance and organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the community center, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs of the facility, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Supervise cleaning staff and ensure the center is kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Oversee security measures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage bookings and scheduling for events and activities within the center.
  • Liaise with external contractors and service providers as needed.
  • Monitor and manage the budget for facility-related expenses.

Requirements:
