We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Academic Curriculum to join a forward-thinking school supporting learners aged 7-19. This key leadership role ensures the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive academic curriculum that meets the diverse needs of all students.

• Develop and lead the academic curriculum, ensuring it is broad, balanced, and engaging.
• Monitor teaching quality and student outcomes, using data to drive improvements in learning.
• Provide outstanding leadership to the academic team, supporting teachers and Teaching Assistants in delivering high-quality lessons.
• Support the strategic vision of the school by collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team.
• Oversee staff performance management, professional development, and the implementation of effective teaching strategies.
• Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of students in collaboration with the Designated Safeguarding Lead.

• Have proven experience managing staff and leading curriculum development.

• Possess excellent interpersonal skills to foster relationships with students, staff, and parents.

• Hours: 8.15 am - 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday during term time. Additional days required during school holidays.
• Responsibilities: Curriculum planning, staff management, data analysis, and safeguarding.
