Seeking the Next Step in Your Career?Are you searching for a welcoming and dynamic workplace that promotes a healthy work-life balance?Interested in working with high-net-worth individuals on an engaging and diverse portfolio?We have a unique and exciting opportunity for a skilled personal tax specialist to become part of a forward-thinking and entrepreneurial team at their office in Forest Row, near East Grinstead.In this role, you will oversee a broad spectrum of personal tax responsibilities, covering both compliance and tax planning. Your duties will include supporting clients with various tax matters, including income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax, along with assisting in the planning and management of Trusts and Estates.Key Responsibilities:
  • Handling a varied and stimulating client portfolio
  • Preparing intricate self-assessment and partnership tax returns
  • Reviewing tax returns completed by colleagues
  • Supervising the preparation and assessment of Trust and Estate accounts and their associated tax filings
  • Completing 60-day Capital Gains Tax (CGT) submissions
  • Evaluating clients' circumstances and providing expert tax planning advice
  • Managing potential client enquiries and playing a role in expanding the client base
Who We’re Looking For:
  • CTA qualification is preferred, but strong practical experience is highly regarded
  • Candidates with other tax or accounting certifications, as well as those with extensive experience, are welcome to apply
  • Ideal for tax managers and senior tax professionals eager to progress in their careers
