Looking to Elevate Your Career?Are you seeking a friendly and dynamic practice that fosters an excellent work-life balance?Keen to work with high-net-worth clients on an exciting and challenging portfolio?We have an exclusive and rare opportunity for an experienced personal tax professional to join a vibrant, entrepreneurial team at their office in Forest Row, near East Grinstead.You will be managing a diverse range of personal tax matters for clients, including compliance tasks and tax planning. The role also involves assisting clients with various tax obligations, such as income, capital gains, and inheritance taxes, as well as supporting the planning and administration of Trusts and Estates.Primary Responsibilities:
  • Managing an engaging and varied client portfolio
  • Preparing complex self-assessment and partnership tax returns
  • Reviewing tax returns prepared by other team members
  • Overseeing the preparation and review of Trust and Estate accounts along with related tax returns
  • Compiling 60-day Capital Gains Tax (CGT) returns
  • Assessing clients' situations and providing support with tax planning strategies
  • Handling potential new client enquiries and contributing to the growth of the client base
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Preference given to CTA-qualified individuals, though practical experience is highly valued
  • Applicants with other tax or accounting qualifications, as well as those with significant experience, are encouraged to apply
