Quality Engineer 

Do you have the expertise to ensure quality assurance throughout the services lifecycle in a leading maritime technology company?

We are looking for a dedicated Quality Engineer to join Atlas Elektronik UK. This role is vital to providing assurance to our company and customers that all QA requirements are met, including quality control activities throughout the lifecycle. You will be working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure product conformity and maintaining comprehensive records, supporting our mission to deliver exceptional maritime technology solutions.

As a Quality Engineer, you will own and resolve all product-related issues, both internally and externally, ensuring customer satisfaction. You will lead and implement process revisions to reduce non-conformance risks and build networks with stakeholders across AEUK. Your role will also include developing and delivering audit schedules, maintaining product records, and supporting the Bid Manager with QA/Configuration input for Services bidding requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and resolve all product-related issues, including customer issues.
  • Revise processes to reduce non-conformance risks.
  • Build networks with wider business stakeholders.
  • Develop, lead, and deliver audit schedules.
  • Ensure effective closeout of internal and external audit findings.
  • Perform regular operational activity surveillance to promote best practices and highlight areas for improvement.
  • Maintain product records to ensure configuration throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Articulate issues, provide feedback, and advocate for quality standards.
  • Monitor customer training feedback to support future training design and delivery.
  • Produce and maintain contracted Quality deliverables.
  • Act as a liaison between Engineering and Production for product assurance.
  • Work with Procurement on supplier testing requirements, non-conformance, and QA certification.
  • Ideally familiar with MF640 and 650 compliance requirements.
  • Generate and update Quality Management Plans.
  • Provide QA input into project status reports.
  • Support Services Division's AEUK Training Programme Board with QA responsibilities.
