Here at Halmer Recruit we are currently recruiting for an assembly operative to join our busy client based in the West Molesey area.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for long term, on going temp work! Potential to go Permanent.
The role will consist of but isn't limited to the following...
- Using written instructions to assemble small & large appliances.
- Using diagrams & drawings to assemble small & large appliances.
- Collecting parts, jobs & units from around the warehouse.
- Doing metalwork to make filters
- Working with guillotine, spot welding machine, rivet gun some other hand tools.
- Using hand held tool to tighten bolts & screws.
- Moving built appliances around the warehouse & loading them on vans for delivery.
- Working alone & as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will have...
- Great understanding of both written & spoken English.
- Previous warehouse or assembly experience.
- Have steel toe capped safety boots.
- Be available asap & able to start work by August 1st.
- Be okay with manual handling & occasional heavy lifting.
- Happy to work a day shift
- No Amazon experience needed.
Hours, days & pay.
- Monday to Thursday 7am to 5pm.
- Fridays 7am to 2.30pm
- £11 .44 + Holiday pay = £12.83 per hour
- Weekly pay, one week behind.
