Halmer Recruit is seeking an assembly operative for a client in West Molesey, offering long-term temporary work with potential for permanent employment.
The role involves assembling small and large appliances using written instructions and diagrams, as well as performing metalwork and operating various tools.
Candidates should have previous warehouse or assembly experience, a good understanding of English, and must be available to start by August 1st.
The position offers a pay rate of £11.44 per hour plus holiday pay, totaling £12.83 per hour, with working hours from Monday to Thursday 7am to 5pm and Fridays 7am to 2.30pm.
Applicants are required to have steel toe-capped safety boots and be comfortable with manual handling and occasional heavy lifting.

Here at Halmer Recruit we are currently recruiting for an assembly operative to join our busy client based in the West Molesey area.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for long term, on going temp work! Potential to go Permanent.

The role will consist of but isn't limited to the following...

Using written instructions to assemble small & large appliances.
Using diagrams & drawings to assemble small & large appliances.
Collecting parts, jobs & units from around the warehouse.
Doing metalwork to make filters
Working with guillotine, spot welding machine, rivet gun some other hand tools.
Using hand held tool to tighten bolts & screws.
Moving built appliances around the warehouse & loading them on vans for delivery.
Working alone & as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will have...

Great understanding of both written & spoken English.
Previous warehouse or assembly experience.
Have steel toe capped safety boots.
Be available asap & able to start work by August 1st.
Be okay with manual handling & occasional heavy lifting.
Happy to work a day shift
No Amazon experience needed.

Hours, days & pay.

Monday to Thursday 7am to 5pm.
Fridays 7am to 2.30pm
£11 .44 + Holiday pay = £12.83 per hour
Weekly pay, one week behind.
