The School and Role

An SEN school based in Bournemouth is currently seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible. The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment for students with complex needs and disabilities, from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to Post 16. The school is designed to cater to the diverse learning styles and abilities of the students, ensuring they receive the support and resources they need to thrive.

Requirements 

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

- Experience of working with primary school aged children

- Experience of working with pupils with SEND

- A passion for the progress of pupils

- An ability to work as part of a team

Whilst previous experience of working with children and young people with learning difficulties and/or social communication difficulties is desirable but not essential. We will also consider applicatants with experience in care, sports coaching, mental health support, or similar roles with transferrable skills.
