Role Summary:We are looking for an experienced Accounts Semi Senior or Accounts Senior to play a pivotal role within the team. You’ll be responsible for servicing a diverse range of clients, providing essential accounting services, and supporting junior team members. Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing accounts and financial statements for a range of clients, from SMEs to large enterprises.
  • Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts, tax returns, and management accounts.
  • Conducting VAT returns and bookkeeping for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Liaising with clients and providing them with proactive advice and guidance on financial matters.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members to develop their skills and enhance team performance.
  • Assisting with client audits and ensuring regulatory compliance is met.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Relevant qualifications (AAT, ACA, ACCA part-qualified or qualified) and experience within a similar role in an accountancy practice.
  • Strong understanding of UK accounting standards and tax legislation.
  • Proficient in accounting software (such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a client-focused approach and the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented attitude and the ability to work well within a team environment.
