With ongoing expansion, they are now seeking to bring an Accounts Assistant on board to join their flourishing team.Responsibilities: You will work closely with a variety of SME clients, and your core duties will involve:
  • Supporting the management of a client portfolio to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Preparing and reviewing accounts for sole traders, personal tax filings, company accounts, and corporation tax returns.
  • Providing advice on VAT matters and ensuring compliance.
  • Upholding high professional and technical standards, which will be supported by continuous training and CPD programmes within the firm.
  • Mentoring and developing junior staff to enhance their expertise.
  • Expanding proficiency in essential areas such as Xero and other Cloud-based platforms.
This position is ideal for someone with some experience in an accountancy practice, eager to advance their career and broaden their exposure to accounts and tax-related responsibilities.Candidate Requirements: Applicants should be either part or fully qualified AAT with recent experience in an accountancy practice.
