Due to continued growth, they are now looking to welcome an Accounts Assistant to their thriving team.Key Responsibilities:You will collaborate with a diverse range of SME clients, with your main responsibilities including:
  • Assisting in managing a portfolio of clients to ensure top-tier service is provided.
  • Compiling and reviewing financial statements for sole traders, personal tax submissions, company accounts, and corporation tax filings.
  • Offering guidance on VAT matters while ensuring full compliance.
  • Maintaining high professional and technical standards, supported by ongoing training and CPD initiatives within the firm.
  • Coaching and supporting junior staff members to help them develop their skills.
  • Enhancing knowledge of key software such as Xero and other Cloud-based platforms.
This role is perfect for someone with prior experience in an accountancy practice who is eager to progress in their career and gain wider exposure to accounting and tax responsibilities.Candidate Criteria:Applicants should be either part-qualified or fully qualified AAT with recent experience in an accountancy practice.
