Contracts Manager, Landscape

Do you want to work within an excitingexpanding landscape business.

Do you have experience within high end commercial, grounds maintenance and possibly with a bit of knowledge of Arbor the we want to hear from you. You will travelling to their contracts in Sussex, Kent and Hampshire.

This role is towork with other contracts managers to ensure smooth efficient delivery of contracts within the business. Overall responsibility for resourcing, programming, department budgets and ensuring all projects are completed to a high standard, on time and on budget.


  1. Develop and maintain lucrative contracts within the sector. Ensuring excellent customer service is demonstrated to both client and members of the public alike. Escalating issues to Director level where appropriate
  2. Manage contracts developed form these relationships from planning through to completion.
  3. Ensure works are delivered to a high technical standard.
  4. Obtain competitive quotations for materials and sub contract services as identified and required.
  5. Be responsible for the overall budgets for these contracts. The reporting and invoicing/application process.
  6. Management of the department forecast, with input into yearly budgeting.
  7. Be responsible for the management team
  8. Create RAMS in line with specifications, ensuring detailed and clear instruction is provided and health and safety is paramount.
  9. Liaise with colleagues to ensure resources are available, training is up to date and all plant/materials needed are resourced in good time.
  10. Provide weekly feedback to the management and commercial meetings on developments and requirements.
  11. Input into departmental bids and tenders.
  12. Be a proactive member of the senior management in regard to process and procedure planning and implementation.
  13. Any other ad-hoc duties that are reasonably asked.
