- Liaising with partners on client management, practice development, and business strategy.
- Managing a varied portfolio of clients.
- Leading engagements ensuring timely and efficient completion.
- Reviewing accounts preparation and corporate tax computations.
- Thinking strategically about clients’ needs by understanding their business and key risks and delivering a high-quality audit service.
- Completing file reviews on a range of audit clients, utilising your existing technical knowledge and experience whilst developing your skills still further and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Playing a key role in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal firm quality policies.
- Developing the team and be a role model, whilst supervising and mentoring junior staff, assisting with the structuring of their training.Â
- ACA/ACCA qualified or AAT qualified with appropriate experience.
- A minimum of three years recent practical audit experience.
- Strong technical knowledge in UK GAAP, FRS102, LLP SORP and ISA’s.
- Experience at managing teams including setting workflow and reviewing work of others.
- Specialisms in Consolidations, Charity audits, CASS 5 and Solicitor Accounts.
- Rules would be a bonus.
- Awareness of changes in current accounts and audit legislation.
- Problem solver with investigative nature, including an acute attention to detail.Â
