Commercial Catering Engineer is required for a client who is based on South Coast near Brighton, they are leading commercial catering equipment company supplying the catering, hospitality and public sectors as well as carrying out service, maintenance, repairs, and installations on all types of commercial catering and refrigeration equipment. This role has come up due to continued demand and new contracts starting.

The Commercial Catering Engineer will be required to provide service, maintenance and breakdown of catering equipment, including, fryers, ovens, microwaves and steamers. The Commercial Catering Engineer will be attending sites across South East London and Northern regions of Kent, on sites such as restaurants, hotels, schools and bars. The commercial catering engineer must hold their Comcat qualifications, such as Comcat 1,3 and 5.

Commercial Catering Engineer Position Overview

As a Catering Engineer you will be carrying out maintenance, repairs and fault finding of Catering equipment e.g. restaurant, hotel, schools and pub catering appliances to include cook line equipment and ware washing. Experience with Rational and dishwashers would be an advantage.

Commercial Catering Engineer Position Requirements
  • Comcat 1,3 and 5 qualifications essential
  • Live within South/South East London or Northern region of Kent such as Dartford
  • The successful candidate must have Commercial Catering Equipment industry experience
  • Experience in electrical and gas catering equipment repair & maintenance.
  • Experience with Rational and dishwashers would be an advantage.
  • Full UK driving licence
Commercial Catering Engineer Position Remuneration
  • £40-44k depending on experience
  • 40-hour week
  • Door to door travel paid
  • 1 in 6 weeks call out rota and paid retainer
  • Company Van, personal use and fuel card
  • Overtime - 1.5x & 2x
  • 21 days holiday rising to 25 days after 3 years' service plus bank holiday
