The client will consider applications from qualified solicitors with a minimum of 1 year demonstrable PQE. You must hold a Duty Accreditation

Responsibilities.

1. Represent clients in criminal proceedings, such as bail hearings, trials, and appeals.

2. Provide legal advice and guidance to clients facing criminal charges.

3. Interview clients to gather relevant information and evidence for their case.

4. Review police reports, witness statements, and other documents related to the case.

5. Develop defence strategies and arguments to support clients' innocence or mitigate charges.

6. Negotiate plea bargains with prosecutors on behalf of clients.

7. Attend court hearings and present legal arguments on behalf of clients.

8. Prepare and submit legal documents, such as motions, briefs, and appeals.

9. Keep clients informed about the progress of their case and advise them on potential outcomes.

10. Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in all client interactions.
