The company:
A regional Main Contractor who specialise in projects ranging from 1m - 20m in value. Projects will include Residential, Commercial, Healthcare and Education schemes.
The role:
Reporting into a ProjectManager you will be responsible for overseeing internal finishes on this new build Healthcare scheme. Your role will involve but not be limited to:
- Management of the master build programme
- Preparation of short term programmes
- Weekly progress meetings with the client, site team and subcontractors
- Progress reporting to the Project Manager on a weekly basis
- Pre-start meetings with the relevant subcontractors
- Overseeing Health & Safety on site and production of relevant reports
- Liaise regularly with external bodies regarding the schemeincluding Building Control, HSE, Utilities and Service providers and the client
About you:
- You will have gained circa 5+ years experience, ideally working for a Main Contractor
- Have the correct CITB qualifications for the position (CSCS Card, SMSTS, First Aid at Work)
- Experience working on a similar scheme would be preferable, but not essential
- Experience of controlling multiple subcontractor packages and direct labour
- Strong organisational and time management skills
