Regional Customer Account Manager - Aviation (EMEA)

My client is seeking a Regional Customer Account Manager to oversee customer interactions and support for engine maintenance services across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). This role ensures smooth after-sales operations, fosters strong client relationships, and optimizes service processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients during engine repair and maintenance procedures.

  • Develop and implement service plans that deliver high-quality support while controlling costs.

  • Establish and nurture strong connections with customers, addressing their concerns effectively.

  • Manage the balance between operational efficiency, customer expectations, and business profitability.

  • Provide frequent updates on project status, including technical reports, cost breakdowns, invoices, and shipping details.

  • Offer commercial and technical insights to align service delivery with both business and customer requirements.

  • Organize meetings and documentation exchanges between clients and service centers.

  • Ensure that all contractual obligations and customer specifications are met.

  • Oversee financial aspects, including project margins, revenue generation, and customer satisfaction ratings.

  • Take a proactive approach to managing customer accounts, including overseeing payments and credit arrangements.

  • Collaborate closely with other departments to maintain existing contracts and explore new business opportunities.

  • Represent the company during customer visits and industry events.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • At least five years of experience in customer account management within the aviation sector, preferably with aircraft gas turbine expertise.

  • Strong background in commercial dealings and contract negotiations.

  • A technical foundation in engineering or aircraft maintenance is beneficial.

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build and sustain professional relationships.

  • Capable of adapting to fast-changing environments while maintaining a positive approach.

  • Willingness to travel throughout the EMEA region as needed.
