Wild Recruitment are looking for a finance assistant / bookkeeper to join our reputable client based near Eastleigh with experience within accountancy.

Duties as a Bookkeeper

Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure data integrity.
Manage relationships between the client and the company.
Support month-end closing processes by preparing necessary documentation.
Respond to inquiries from staff and clients regarding financial matters.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Credit control and accounts payable.

Experience

Previous experience as a finance assistant or any payroll / accounting background
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, as well as identifying tasks to help with.
