Secondary Classroom Supervisor - Chandler’s Ford

Engage Education is expanding its work with secondary schools in the Chandler’s Ford area and is seeking multiple support staff, including Classroom Supervisors.

We welcome applications from candidates with a range of experience. While previous experience working with students with challenging behaviour is advantageous, it is not essential. This role is ideal for aspiring teachers, experienced cover supervisors, or individuals with a background in youth work or behaviour mentoring who are interested in a career in education.

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading lessons and covering classes in the absence of teachers across various subjects.

You will:

  • Have experience working with students aged 4-16
  • Be adaptable, confident in managing behaviour, and comfortable working across different subjects
  • Demonstrate the ability to build strong professional relationships with students
  • Have a firm yet engaging approach
  • Show a genuine interest in education
  • Possess a strength in any subject across the curriculum
