Training Co-Ordinator
Location: Eastleigh
Salary: £27k-£28k per annum (equivalent)
12 weeks placement initially, with the idea to go permanent.

We're excited to be looking for an Induction Training Coordinator to join our team. You'll be based in our Eastleigh office, with travel to Bracknell and Yeovil, to lead and coordinate a smooth induction process for all trade operative new starters, meeting all relevant health and safety standards and supporting the Central Support Services function on all administration duties.

Communication, presentation, organisational and prioritisation skills are all essential, liaising with operational teams, people and development, and health and safety teams to ensure a successful induction for all new colleagues joining commercial services.

If you have experience of organising and facilitating in-person training sessions, and are confident in presenting information to colleagues, networking and maintaining excellent working relationships across different teams, along with a can-do attitude, you could be exactly who we're looking for!

Options available for working from home on non-induction training days – up to two days per week.

Who we are

My client is large housing provider who own and manage over 55,000 homes and various community assets, serving more than 120,000 customers across the South of England.

Duties

• Deliver the onboarding sessions face to face, which includes planning and arranging relevant induction sessions to include Health and Safety, IT training, mandatory training, systems management and Abri Values and Behaviors, across our three main offices.
• Review and keep up to date an effective Induction training program to ensure our teams are fully prepared to offer a safe and excellent service to our customers
• Collaborating closely with all stakeholders, including IT, supervisors / Managers, People Development and Health and Safety to make sure that all new incumbents are fully equipped when they start and have a thorough understanding of Abri, our values and behaviours and what is expected from them. Ensuring a smooth transition into their teams.
• Work with managers and the wider team to identify colleagues requiring additional training, coaching and support across the team and work with People and Organisational Development (POD) to co-ordinate an effective training plan for individuals or a team depending on requirements. Proactively planning training across the year.
• Helping individuals where necessary with completion of mandatory training to include one-to-one sessions, providing advice and encouragement to ensure compliance. Adapting training style to support individuals with learning differences.

Experience 

• Experience of facilitating and delivering training session working closely with individuals of differing knowledge levels and learning abilities.
• Ability to clearly articulate and share knowledge with all types of people
• Ability to train and coach individuals and groups of people
• Confident in presenting information to colleagues, networking and maintain excellent working relationships across different teams and areas of the business
• Excellent level of competency and knowledge of Microsoft office packages to include outlook, excel and word and inhouse systems
• Knowledge of working in a housing environment
• Maintain accurate records of all induction activity undertaken with individuals, ensuring records are updated as appropriate.
• To be the point of contact for all areas of the business around good practice.
• Providing support to the Apprenticeship Coordinator as and when required.
