Assistant Finance Manager at Dynamite Recruitment Solutions Ltd in Eastleigh, England

Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Assistant Finance Manager to join a highly acquisitive business based in Southampton. The role would be reporting into the Financial Reporting Manager and responsible for a small team and producing management accounts. This position could offer study support for the successful candidate.The Role:

Day to day management of the department, ensuring the control of transactional finance and reporting are completed effectively
Preparing the monthly management accounts to include a profit and loss account, balance sheet and cash flow statement, monthly journals and variance analysis
Identify causes of variance from budget and creating monthly performance reports, analysing profits by revenue stream
Recommend improvements to procedures and processes to ensure the department is working efficiently

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience within a similar position
Studying towards CIMA/ACCA/ACA (essential)
Previous management experience
Strong Excel and analytical and reporting skills
Strong attention to detail and good verbal and written communication skills
