Bennett and Game are working in partnership with an established Freight company actively seeking a Customs professional to join their close-knit team in Southampton starting on a 6-month contract with the vision on going permanent.
Customs Coordinator - Job Overview
- Completing Customs entries with a core focus in Road freight Imports but with the ability to work on Export entries and multi-modal entries.
- Joining the close-knit Customs team you'll manage the customs process, customs administration process and key clients of the business.
- You'll complete T1 entries using CDS, assist with bonded warehouse entries and paperwork.
Customs Coordinator - Job Requirements
- Previous knowledge in a Customs / Freight position
- Experience using CDS or additional freight / customs systems
- Knowledge of Road freight imports - highly desirable
- Strong customer service experience - essential
- Strong IT / computer literacy - essential
Customs Coordinator - Salary & Benefits
- Monday - Friday (9:00 - 17:30)
- Salary: £25k DOE
- Hybrid working after successful probation period
- Holiday: 28 days including bank
- Immediate start available
