The Role:

In this role your main aim is to ensure compliance with UK customs regulations, compliance and Risk Management, monitor changes in customs regulations, update internal processes and conduct regular audits. The successful candidate will need to support the logistics dept. with continuous growth to make improvements to deliver better value for their clients., keep up to date with the latest HMRC requirements, also to support the Team with Export/Import work to generate more revenue for the company, plus prepare accurate and competitive quotations and processing of invoices.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrable the ability to working under pressure, to tight deadlines and other duties when required

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous shipping, logistics / freight forwarding experience
  • Experience in Customs
  • Experience in Imports and Exports
  • Experience in Account Management and excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Excellent It Skills and be able to work under pressure
