Assistant Town Planner

Eastleigh

I am currently assisting one of my clients, a well established housing developer, who are actively seeking an enthusiastic, collaborative, technically proficient, commercially astute, and personable Town planner to join them on a full time, permanent basis in their Eastleigh office. This can be a graduate looking for an entry level role up to someone with around 1 to 2 years experience within planning.

About the Role:
As a Graduate Planner, you will be supporting senior team members while gradually developing your own case load. You'll attend meetings and site visits, directly engaging with clients to build relationships. You'll assist with researching new projects, preparing planning applications, and handling land promotion and consultations. We are committed to supporting your professional growth, offering mentoring and training to help you achieve your APC and work toward RTPI membership.

About You:
They are looking for a Graduate Town Planner with either a planning degree or other relevant degree; they will support you through an accredited master's program or help you work toward your RTPI membership if needed. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, and you should be proactive in working collaboratively within a team.

A full UK Driving Licence is required.
