Job Overview


As a Storekeeper, you will play a vital role in supporting the Purchasing, Production, and Sales departments. While your main responsibilities are outlined below, additional tasks may arise to meet the evolving needs of the Pumps Business Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately and promptly:

      • Accept and store received materials and components from suppliers and carriers.
      • Store and retrieve goods from stock locations.
      • Kit works orders, sales orders, and branch orders.
      • Pack and dispatch sales and branch orders per customers' delivery dates and special instructions.
      • Issue shortages and unplanned issues; accept unplanned receipts and returns.
      • Restock 'Assy' parts for Production requests.

Safely operate forklift trucks for loading and unloading materials, components, and finished pumps from suppliers, customers, outside carriers, and fleet vehicles.
Assist in periodic stock-taking exercises.
Ensure all tasks adhere to company Health and Safety policies, minimising risk and maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
Perform any other tasks as needed to support the company's commercial activities.
Experience/Qualifications:

  • Current Forklift Licence (Counterbalance)
  • Knowledge of stores practices
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Physically fit due to the nature of the role
