Wild Recruitment are looking for a finance assistant / bookeeper to join our reputable client based in Eastleigh with experience within the financial services sector.

Duties as a finance assistant

  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure data integrity.
  • Support month-end closing processes by preparing necessary documentation.
  • Respond to inquiries from staff and clients regarding financial matters.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Credit control and accounts payable.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a finance assistant or any payroll / accounting background
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, as well as identifying tasks to help with.
